Yes. The American Meat Institute is an organization that supports the sacrifice of millions and millions of animals daily.
These animals are sacrificed for no other purpose than to satisfy the tongue, and to pacify the stomach. This abominable practice leads to violence and lust, because it numbs a person to the suffering and pain of others. Showing no mercy to even a helpless animal, they extend their cruelty to other humans with increasing brutality and barbarism. Eventually, they will rationalize killing an innocent child, the infirm, and the elderly. They will manufacture wars, killing thousand of innocent people, and they will develop highly advanced weapons with which to kill them more efficiently.
I don't know about satan, but it is certainly demonic.

There are a few of them, but more often than not, animal sacrifice in America is done by teenage rebellion goth-kids. It's sad, but they take things as what they think they are instead of realizing what it really is.
People have been sacrificing animals since the dawn of time. Just look at Abel.

Satanists worship the self, they do not make animal sacrifices. There is devil worship which is common in Asia, try looking it up on wikipedia
