I had problems with my mum later on in life but now almost an oap I remember clearly walking hand and hand with her when I could only have been 3 - 4 yrs old. It was a clear night with a velvet blue starry sky and moon and although the coversation was vague it was something to do with a song that was out at that time called 'I see the moon' and she said to me "If I could reach for the moon and take it down from the sky I would give it to you".

Hi, I remember one winter we had really deep snow, my mum dad, sister and i along with our dog went playing on the station field in the snow we had a fantastic time, we kept losing the dog in the snow and we made snowmen. My mum went into our home and made us all a hot milky drink so we could get warm after playing. This was in the early 1960's and i still remember it well.

Not THE only one, but one of my most treasured is going on holiday to Ireland when I was 4 with my favourite brother and favourite Aunt. Unfortunately, she died last year, so I really treasure it now.
