Are you sure that 1 gram of sugar is 4000calories? I am surprised............

The common table sugar or sucrose supplies you with 3.85 calories of energy per gram consumed. Not 4000 cal.

I gram of sugar can have max 5 Calories, depends on the type of process sugar, some commercial granular sugar have filers to keep them from lumping up.

1 tea spoon is 18 calories.
