There is no Luke 25! but, if I have got what you are asking.
The cost of being a disciple, related to the the fact that being a follower of Christ that we would be despised and people will reject us for what we believe.
In Western Countries like Europe, this is not so bad these days as the Christian Faith is accepted, but in the past Jesus' followers were chucked out of their families and often killed for their faith. It also says in the bible that there will come a time when Christians will have this happen to them again.
But at this point in time it is relatively easy to be s disciple of Christ.

There is no Luke 25. I think you meant Luke 24. Luke 24 is saying that Jesus is going to be persecuted by the unbelievers, that He is going to put to death, and that if you become a Christian, that you will be persecuted or treated unfairly for being a Christian.

John 15:18-19 says:
18 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

Does this help??

It is hardly surprising you get stuck at Luke 25, as there are only 24 chapters. Jesus spoke much about the cost of discipleship....making the general point that unless you are prepared to give yourself you close the channel, as it were, to all that He wishes to give.
Someone once said that the Church is the strangest club in the world. Entrance fee is nothing; annual subscription is everything; and it is the only club that exists for the benefit of non-members.

If you are referring to Luke 24:25,27 as follows:

Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Christ is talking to the two deciples in verse 13 that He met on the road to the village Emmaus. In verse 27 Christ explaines why He was crusified, buried and resurrected on the third because it had been prophesied throughout the Old Testament. Christ must come to save men from their sins and be resurrected by the power of God the Father. God glorified Jesus Christ when Christ asended back to Heaven.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, 46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. 50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. 51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy: 53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
