Carl, we all have sinned and fallen short of the God's glory. We are selfish and think only of ourselves. We tend to think that thre is no God because we are doing fine without him.
One day every eye shall see the Lord, even the ones who pierced him on the cross. We cannot run away from that day.
We ought to pray sincerely to God and ask him to give us the zeal to look for him and see him.

Seeing how Jesus loved when he lived rather than following Pauls and his sin focused churches interpetation could be why nobody respects how Jesus loves, ya think?

I will give you another commandment: Love yourself first then you can extend the same love to your fellow man. This is the way of thing. If you have no value for yourself it is impossible to value those like you; your fellow man as part of the human race.

yes, It would have been easier on us today, if all was explained in ways that we today, would under stand. But thats not the case. we are told about the bible and such.
This just makes it harder to have a blind faith. All that trips us up, was given us from god., but we will suffer any way. does that sound like love?

If you can write this question, and your time comes to past, then you can answer your own question......why do people continue to question God.
I really didn't follow anything logical that you wrote, are you making more of a statement than a question? If statement, sorry, I missed it.... if question, then hopefully you find an answer someday...

This is not a new commandment, it is one that is found even in the OT, when Christ was saying this he was saying it in a context to the jews to understand that they have misunderstood God's law.

Not really sure what your question is, but I'll say this: the Golden Rule is something even nonbelievers can buy into, and not enough believers adhere to it.
