I think it does. The better the driver acts towards other drivers gains the other drivers respect. If you ahve friends off the track then more hten likely you will have friends on the track, and you can make alot of great friends with the NASCAR drivers by what morals and character you have. All NASCAR drivers are friends with each other but some like each other more hten others. I think that the more people like you the better sponsors and more souvenirs people will by and therefore give the driver more money.

Hey it's gone from "redneck round up" to which idiot can cause a wreck and blame someone else.
NASCAR has moved away from the sport I have loved since 1960.Today it is turning into an entertainment like wrestling.
Drivers don't qualify they are given a starting slot so they sandbag because they know they are in the race so big whoop.
Get back to drivers racing in.
Use to a driver would sit an hour or two after a race signing autographs or having pictures taken now if you don't have a number and get there at the crack of dawn you don't stand a chance.
Not all but most of the drivers come in by plane, runs some practice says whats wrong quailify race complain go home.Fans, the people who buy the tee shirts at the souviner trailer.

Character and morals are important to the sponsors, to NASCAR, and should be to the fans as well. 2 out of 3 isn't too bad I guess.

i gues it is somewhat important to good values and morals.
remember tony stewart had to take anger managment counseling while the alcoholic kurt bush got a dui and had to take alcohol classes.
remember also nascar gave shane hmiel a lifetime ban for abuseing,of all drugs, marijuana.
so yea i guess this falls back on morals and character.to a point anyway.

Maybe to those drivers that are totally selfish, but that is why those type don't have any fans.
