I have long, fine, medium brown hair that is prone to static and breakage. It is however still soft and shiny. I have been using pantene's origional shampoo and conditioners, which I been reading may not be the best for me.... can anyone tell me what my best bet for a shampoo/conditioner would be?

Kudos to Pantene for the excellent ad campaigns they've been running for the past 15 years. They've got some smart marketers behind them, and they've proven that you can make millions off of a lousy cheaply made product if you market it with the right beautiful model shots.

Biolage would be an excellent bet. It's available at salons and beauty supplies.

Not sure about shampoo/conditioner but I have horribly static hair and it's quite fine and I use Shock Waves Control Frizz Free Cream (says in small print that it deals with static too, and it does!!) when wet (after washing) and then blow dry and it sorts it out. Of course, if you're American, they might not sell it over there!

Well my aunt is a stylist, she owns her own shop in she has told me that pantene shampoo strips your hair. I would suggest goin to a beauty salon n gettin shampoo from there matrix biologe seems to work best for me. But far as like regular shampoo i like tresemme and aussie.
