Chantix (varenicline) is the new medication that was recently released to assist smokers overcome their need. It comes in pill form. You can go the company web site at chantix.com for information. They also have a behavioral support program. As to using it in combination with other smoking cessation medication therapies, their literature specifically states that they have not studied it.
