if god is all knowing and all loving why did he create the being that would eventually turn out to be satan. if he knew everything that was going to happen he knew that Lucifer would become satan. and if he loves all humans why did he create the being that is supposedly responsible for all the bad things that happen in the world and why did god give him dominion over the earth. that seems a little messed up to me.

Well i guess this is more then one question but: if god has existed forever what made him one day decide to create a species out of the blue. a species that he says is to worship him. that also seems a little egocentric.

ive seen that a lot of answers include the reason being that we have free will and the angels had free will. if this is true then why is it wrong if we use our free will to not believe since there has been no real evidence that a god actually exists.

I agree with you on the most part, but God did not create us to be forced to love and worship Him, he wants us to have the option and chose Him over Satan

Perhaps i could ask 1 question in hopeful answer to your question. Ive seen many of the answers here and I really hate the us against them attitude that we as people have gravitated toward. Anyway let me try.

If you are in a relationship and you decide its time to have a child, first you must know that this child may be a great kid and grow up to be a great man or woman one day. But on the other hand you may have a Jeffery Domer or a Hitler or a Charles Manson on your hand. Knowing that this child weather it grows up to be good or bad will most likely cause you pain in your life, why do you still go ahead with the decision to have that child? One word I say.

Love

What if God saw that Lucifer had sinned and immediately ZAPPED him? Well Id say that the claims Lucifer put forth, that God is unjust and His Law to heavy for even the angels to keep would have been justified. But God is the One on trial here. He had to let Lucifer have his own choice... to make his own way to show that love cannot be forced and still be love.

We know now that the claims of Lucifer, now Satan, are horribly inaccurate, we see the love of God that he spared not His only Son into the world to take the penalty of sin, death, so that we might be able to live with Him and not perish.

Because God made free will. Just because He's all knowing, it doesn't mean He doesn't want us to make our own choices. So one being made a bad choice, then more, then mankind. If you choose wrongfully, there are consequences. God doesn't stop this.

and do you mean Satan, or humans? because Satan isn't responsible for everything, and humans aren't responsible for everything. if a human chooses to do wrong, they do wrong: their fault. If someone is demon possessed and they did something wrong, it's not 100% their fault (they should have been saved so you can't be demon possessed) as they don't have free will while the demon is in control.

and please read what God gave them dominion over: the birds, the animals and creatures. Every human being is responsible for what he/she does. the EARTH is God's, but man is his own (unless he chooses a master). We, as souls, are gifted with intellect, so we are logically the ones to have control over what does not. We were to be husbandmen of the earth, but lost that right when we disobeyed God.

hope that answers your question!

This is like the question if God created a rock too heavy for him to lift could he lift it. :p I agree some things we just cant comprehend. But my explaination as far as I percieve it is this:
God Creates beings and gives them freewill. What they do with their freewill is there choice. I dont think the future is absolute. I think God Knows of every Possible future and we can change which future we end up with. Just like the Devil was his Great Angel who was good he choosed to become bad. Just like We can choose to follow God or not. Some things will always happen some things we can change. God works through others to influence change. The devil didnt have to turn out evil. Perhaps he was given a chance to not do that with another possible life. But these questions we can never know about that weakens our faith isnt good just like the silly who can lift the rock if he made it where he cant question. Perhaps he could make another person that can thereby lifting it LOL :P

The first thing to understand is that if you believe in God, which it sounds like you don't, that we as humans really can never understand God or Why He does specific things. After all God is a God and we are merely humans. Kind of like a three year old understanding how an all loving parent would deprive him of more ice cream. "if mom and dad loved me, they would let me have what I want. Just as a 3 year old isn't wise enough to understand the answer to that question, we are not wise enough to know what is best for us. It is possible that God did this as some sort of example for us and possibly a test, but again, we can't know and likely couldn't fathom it.

It seems messed up because you are only thinking of the present. Our life continues on and on, forever, after we physically die. God gave everyone free will, including the Angels. It is through our struggles that we learn the most and that is what we are doing here on earth, learning. Some learn a little fast than others and some never quite get it but still God offers his salvation plan to everyone at no cost to you!

Then why did God make man then ? Satan is a cherub , a winged creature created to stand over the throne of God with his wing spread.Satan got jealous of everyone praising God and rebelled against God and got 1/3 of the angels to join him.Satan only temps us , man by his free will also rebells against God. Through God's infinate mercy gave us a way out of the punnishment we deserve in hell by offring a " free ticket " to heaven, Only if we turn from our ways and accept Jesus as our savior.

this life we have to make the choices that will, in the end, determine our eternal destiny. But many times our choices also have much more immediate consequences. How often someone can, in a weak and unguarded moment, make a choice that brings sudden and painful consequences. What makes these events even more tragic is that so often those who make those wrong choices can be "good" people, faithful and honorable souls who, as we all do, slip and fall. In one sense the more honorable, exalted, and esteemed the person is, the more responsibility upon that person to weigh his or her decisions carefully.

And Satan made his choice to go against God. it's called free will

your right God does know everything, but we don't. God has a plan and we are not called to understand it, there is some reason he created satan and ya know i am not sure, you do have a good argument but part of the christian religion is Faith, to have faith is to believe in something you can't see and to accept that the way it is and not question that. He knows what he is doing, you don't so don't question him.

Well when God created the Angels he gave them a free will just like you and I.
He wants you to make that choice of either serving him are serving Satan.
Serving God is the hard choice the road is narrow the road that the devil offers is wide but it leads to hell and destruction.
