ok so yeah I am 14 and don't really know what to do. I really like this guy for some reason but I have never talked to him before. How can I start to talk to him when he is in front of his friends. I want to say hi to him but every time I try it comes out really quietly and he doesn't notice. I'm really shy is I don't know you. I know stuff about him just from things but he doesn't know that I know that stuff because he doesn't even know me(like the sports he plays and classes he takes).Sometimes I feel like a a stalker and I don't want him to think I am stalking him.I want to talk to him soooo BADLY please HELP!!! If you were me what would you do? I'll rate all answers and choose a best answer.

Smile at him and when you make eye contact, say "Hi". Guys like confidence; fake it if you have to at first.

In my opinion, if I were you, I would catch him when he is alone since you are shy. Just say hi and inquire about the sports he plays. Just general questions like how long as he played, things of that nature. Tell him you saw hinm playing and he is really good. Guys like this. Once you are on the subject of him then there is no doubt that he will take the lead of the conversation. Maybe if you have the same type of classes then you could dicsuss something about them..I am sure he will be happy to carry on a conversation with you(especially about his favorite sports). Who knows where it will lead. Good luck

Well, hmm. I would try to find him with no friends or just a few friends, and then say hi. Do you know him at all? Try to start a small convo, something along the lines of hey! my name is...and i was at your game. You're really good! Make it seem coincendential and not like you know stuff about him from other people. If theres a guy i like i just try and find some common ground and i approach him acting never thinking. for me at least its helped to act before I think...best of luck and you never know what can happen!

Hey, I'm 14 too so I so know how you feel.. have similar situation i worked out.. okay maybe i can explain this by explaining my own. i liked this guy so much but i didnnt know him. so, i kinda started hanging out w/ his friends tht were girls tht i liked more, and then did like casual convos w/ him for awhile. that was september. now, im his best friend =) and im expecting more will come soon.. so to answer ur question, i think yes u should talk to him. broach the subject on the topicws u know he likes, or find out more abt the stuff he likes and talk to him abt it. tell him u like it, etc... but w/out him knowing u kow he does too. dont tell him how u feel RIGHT away cuz that might freak him out. but, do talk to him, make friends or aquaintances at least. =] peacee

I am a 23 /M. With my experience I am telling the following universal facts.
If you throw yourself on him, he will run away.
If you dont go to him, he may not notice you
You should say him Hi and wait to see if he is interested in you. After 1-2 time try to talk to him on a topic of his interest and see if he is begining to get interested in you. Rest leave on Hope. Nobody can force anybody to like himself.

seriously, just say hi to him, and if you get the chance, strike up a conversation with him...you only live once, and from former shy girl to another, you'll regret it if you don't try and talk to him.

when you approach the group just say a casual hi to everyone and you will be noticed without being too obvious. they will see what a nice girl you are.

if you really like him, you have to make sure he knows you and mkae him your friend..
sometimes guys become your best friend to be more closer to you becuase he like you....
so be bold and make a move by saying hi to this guy
you can always bring a friend who knows him n make her introduce you...
