Ok, i've put on a few pounds and am really feeling it. I saw my boyfriend yday and wont now see him til the 27rth as hes off on a much needed holiday. I'd love for him to come back and for me to be back how i was. I want to feel really good and look my best for when hes home.
If i cut out all junk, eat healthy, drink 2 litre of water a day plus do either an hour on rowing machine and just sit ups etc at home or an hours walk a day, on top of housework and playing in the park etc with my son, for the next two weeks, how much should i expect to lose? I'm 5'6 and over 9 stone (not sure by how much exactly)

P.s once started i intnd to keep it up, just ownderd if it will have much of an effect in the two weeks?

Hi, if you're serious about a lifestyle change vs. just taking it off till your boyfriend comes back, I would recommend checking out Weight Watchers. It will educate you on an ongoing basis and keep you going when you see the celebrations of weight loss. It's all about being in a supportive environment plus action steps.

I have lost the weight I wanted to lose (15 lbs.) and have kept it off because I continue to go to Weight Watchers for the support. I also have been going to the gym for cardio 4 days a week.

The water is important - they say drink 1/2 the amount of ounces of water a day from your weight. So if you weight 150 lbs. drink 75 ounces a water. That will keep you full and hydrated.

Good luck. My suggestion is not to overdo it as you will - yes lose it - but it will come back on when you go back to the same stuff as you did before to put it on.

Meaning make small changes and it will come off for good. It is a lifestyle change not just lose 10 lbs. for your boyfriend. It will come back on if you don't change your lifestyle.

Be kind to yourself. It took you a while to put the weight on, it will take a while for it to come off and stay off.

Yes, I'm sure it will - when I've had a break from exercise and start again I notice the difference in a week or so. Just go easy on the sit ups and rowing at first, or you'll ache so much you won't be able to keep it up - break yourself in gradually. Good luck!

it would be hard to predict exactly how much weight you may lose but if you exercise you will tone up the ares and that will improve your figure, by the way you dont sound like you are at all over weight, just concentrate on toning.

probably about 4lb. 2lb a week is the max you should loose a week or it is unhealthy and the weight will not stay off
