If overwhelming pride is a sin in Christianity is the belief that Christianity is the only true religion and all others false a monsterous sin?

there are not different levels of sin. some are not worse than others. The Bible tells us about one faith and one God. So belief in that, no matter how large that faith is could be prideful.

the pride that we speak of is the one that says I'm my own boss I don't need God. That's prideful to the highest degree.

pride is not a sin,but too much is not good to have.
And there's a difference betweeen confident faith and pride.

It is idolatry.
The worship of oneself.
