Hell yea! She is using your supplies! That would cost money anywhere else.. At a minimum, she could do the food shopping every other week..

YOur friend decide to be in your company for 4 days should bring her overnight bag and some spending money to support her needs and it is not wrong for her to help out on the expenses. Your friend is using your utilities phone and water and should help out since this is done on a weekly basis. Also ask her to buy some food or take her to the store or else reverse the situation and go to her house 4 days and the two of you alternate turns at each other's house. I bet when the shoe get on her feet she will understand that one takes nothing for granted cause the pay back is not always good.

Yes, you should arrange some sort of compensation. You should also encourage her to find a place to stay closer to her job so she can stop staying with you. Work out some sort of small fair weekly price. You can actually sit down and crunch the numbers to figure out how much money she is actually costing you by what she actually uses then adding in a small inconveinance factor for you.

If you said she could do it for a few days "no problem" then No, your doing it out of the kindness of your heart. If u said ok, just tonight and it ended up being 4 then it is ok to ask for money or a request for the person to leave. If its causing you money problems then discuss it with your friend! Most friends would help u out if they had the money!

If you don't want her to stay there, ask her to leave.
If you want to start charging her to stay there, then discuss a specific amount and date to pay it with her.
If you are waiting for her to "offer" to pay you, don't hold your breath for that. She is content with the current arrangement.
If she doesn't have the money to pay you, ask that she find other ways to help out - give her a chore list, ask her to take care of dinner one night a week, etc. Make a chart, put it on the fridge, discuss it with her, and have her sign it. If that doesn't improve the situation, then ask her to leave.
She sounds like a freeloader. What's in this friendship for you?

Yes, if that was the arrangement. If that arrangement has not been made, you two should have a talk. If she is offering you money and you don't want to take it then you are more generous than I am.

yes of course she should, she is a burden to you and nobody should be, unless you asked them to be your guest, and no guest stays for 4 weeks, ask her to leave -or hand her a bill, include all her expenses, a true friend would be only too happy to share the load,

I think it is great of her to offer you compensation for her convenience. It is the right thing to do, and I would do it if I were in her shoes. If she is eating the food you buy for yourself, absolutely. Let her say thanks this way and you will have a friend for life.
GL and let her do the right thing
