Question is which religion?
Chrsitianity by its very root is unscientific. Hostorically chrsitianity tried to restrict science by all its means.
If you are talking about Islam, than Islam is already with science.

well, i have a couple of religion/science related theories
like, i think that before Noah's flood that the different tribes of people looked a lot different than us... In the bible it says there were giants... so, would it be too far of a leap to say there was a tribe of people that were covered in hair and lived in trees? this is where i think the scientific theory of evolution came from.
and as for dinosaurs... i do not believe that they walked the earth 250 million years ago, or whatever. I do, however believe that God created the reptiles... and many reptiles grow from life to death (frogs, for instance, never stop growing)... anyway, animals and people had much longer lifespans than we do now... so the reptiles just kept on growing

By accepting the truth of Creation Science: God created the Heavens and the earth a few thousand years ago. Because of this, we have morals which benefit society. Humans are not just "evolved animals" which can be killed for whatever reason. If we accept that God created, and that humans are created as His pinnacle, then our societies will be just.

once a priest told me that he believed in both religion and science..I do too . you just need to have ethics with science.i don't believe in evolution completely. I believe God made adam and eve. but i do believe in the law of "survival of the fittest"... i think you can you just need limits to science
