I've heard of one women who's friends took her out to a club or a bar one night to cheer her up and she got so many nice guys she's been going to clubs and pretending to be sad ever since.
But that's not my style. Dose anyone have any better ideas?

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. You want to meat gentlemen or men? The two can not be intermixed(though people try) There are plenty of places to meet men(the bar and clubs your friend went to)but to meet gentlemen, you have to go where gentlemen are and get involved. Find a passion of yours that would overlap what gentlemen do, golf, taking a sailing class, a class on stock trading, restoration of classic cars. You know the man will have means and not just look for a purse he can boink at night and life off of by day. Start a Yahoo group for gentlemen and plan get together for the locals who join. Think outside-the-box and you see the possibilities are endless and many are dirt cheap. *smile*

I would try the library, I don't want to sound lame or anything but if your in college you should go to your college library and start working on something chances are you might have trouble with something and then you have to ask someone and who wants to ask those old ratty librarians anyway when there's a hot guy two steps and a hop away from you who just happens to be studious too ooo la la.

Think for yourself and try some new ways.Some people use the Internet,some bars you know different things.You seem like you could be a nice person I know how you feel I`m a Christan and I have problems with people thinking I`m a bore but I`m not and I respect women.So just be your self.

Look for lonely guys at the mall, in the park, if you work with people try your customers, maybe co-workers (Although usualy not a good idea unless they don't work with you very much), If ur in school look at ur school. Try making the first move and don't always wait for him to do it because he might be too nervous.

It depends on the club.. There are are some really sophisticated clubs that you could meet some really nice people at..
