I can only find mineral oil that is used as laxative in grocery store. Is that suitable?? If not ,where do you get pure mineral oil??

Can laxative mineral oil be used??
Thank's for your answers, but thecooking people say these boards need to be seasoned, now I don't know what to do??

Don't use anything to season a cutting board! If you do it promotes the retention of bacteria! Believe it or not wood cutting boards don't hold bacteria as long as the plastic ones. The only thing I have ever seasoned is Cast iron cook ware.

Agreed. You don't season a cutting board. Furthermore, you should never use dishsoap and water either. Especially if it is wooden, but true for all materials, you should only clean with lemon juice and rinse. It is a natural bacteria killer and it leaves no film.

I absolutely agree with the other answers. you don't need to season it, but you should clean it with a bleach solution to sanitize it.
