I think your choice is a great idea. dark brown with light brown highlites! Seems like it work good and I'd never suggest red. I recently dyed my hair "red" from a dark brown and it literally turned RED! Like Ronald McDonald or Fiona from the movie Shrek and did not look good with my pale skin tone. LOL If you do mess it up, get that stuff called "OOps" It's a hair dye remover and it worked GREAT on taking that nasty color right out of my hair! Garnier Nutrisse hair dye is best! Very gentle.

If you already have pale skin and you think that the darker tone accent your skin tone then go ahead and try it. Just beware that most colors do wash out over four to six week period. You might want to try going blond as I have seen many women who are of lighter complexion do so and it really brings them out. Maybe a subtle golden blond leaving the back your natural color or sticking with the highlights.

I dyed my hair black and had no problem with my skin tone, even though I'm naturally blonde :P! I would say that if your hair is already brown then you wouldn't have any problems with it. I would always recommend black as a second choice though :D.

Aww! You look so amazing. Is that your...niece or something? Lol i don't understand. besides, i think of you need to unquestionably artwork a brown. i would not recommend something TOO dark, yet a brown (like the colour of "brown" in a p.c.. of Crayola crayons - lol).
