This question depends on what weight class it would be held. Let's assume that it is the 130-pound weight class. Manny would have an edge in power. Mayweather would have an edge in defense. They would be equal in chin, speed, and stamina. This fight would turn into a boxer vs. puncher classic.
Mayweather would stay away from Manny to prevent heated exchanges. I think Floyd will build an early lead and control the fight up to the middle rounds. Manny will then turn up the action and engage Floyd in a slugfest. Ultimately, I see this fight ending in a draw. I expect Mayweather to get dropped twice in the later rounds, which will enable Manny to catch up on points.

particularly i actually do not understand. both are marvelous warring parties. Manny Pacquiao has large % and agility and has stepped ahead more suitable positive accuracy which became shown in his wrestle hostile to Ricky Hatton. Floyd Mayweather besides the undeniable fact that has large protection and timing on punches and universal the more suitable positive boxer, even inspite of the truth that his fights are boring to observe. If Pacquiao were to flow to brawling approaches, he could lose, coz Mayweather will seek for the slightest starting to get the KO. yet another issue is weight. Mayweather is amazingly smooth being a Welterweight, yet when Pacquiao adjusts to being a Welterweight then he can truly do a touch damage coz he were given %. In a wrestle like this, something could take position. yet universal i flow for Pacqiuao in chop up determination. i'm Pacman fan.

Are you serious? I like Manny, he is a warrior, no disrespect, but isn't he 129 lbs?? Anyone under 145 is a waste of time for Floyd. I read other answers about Manny's power. Yes, he has power, power for a small 130 pound man. Those hits are not going to phase Maywaether, the ones that actually connect. Floyd's speed and defense would really frustrate and exhaust Manny. Floyd needs to go up if he's ever going to be beat, not go down. He beat Baldomir who was 15 pounds heavier than him. I can't wait for De La Hoya.

I don't care what anyone says. Floyd is the man. He will defeat De La Hoya handily in a unanimous decision. IF he loses to De La Hoya, which is entirely possible, there is NO shame. De La Hoya is a true great who is naturally bigger than Mayweather with better expieriance behind him. Floyd would take Pacquiao apart at anyweight. Yeah, Pac' can hit, but Floyd can MOVE, none of that crappy Hamed stuff either. I think Floyd can beat anyone 147 and under, he has real guts to go up to Super Middleweight and take on the best in his first 154lb match. Ultimately, it will not be another opponent to beat Floyd, it'll be Floyd's arrogance. He is unbeatable in my opinion at anything under 147, probably 154 and under.

Floyd is the bigger man, and Manny would be coming up in weight, never a good thing for a puncher. Speed would be about equal, and Floyd is a far better boxer. This one would be a Philippine Waterloo of sorts for Pacquiao.

Mayweather by KO in 8

Mayweather wins this easily.

Mayweather has the advantage in almost every category except power. Mayweather is smarter, faster, and has much better ring mastery than the one-dimensional Pacquiao.

If they meet around the 133 - 135 lb weight, Pacman might take the fight. But I'm biased because of my nationality.

But that would be a heck of a fight. Floyd is where he is because he is one of the best.

At least he won't give up like Barrera and Morales did against Pacman.

I'd have to go with Floyd Mayweather on this one.

If they were ever in the same weight class and fought, I would think Pacman would knock Mayweather out.
