Fact from fiction, truth from diction. You can still be friends, only IF YOU do not sabotage it. I have been in that situation. Loving someone who doesn't love you back. the rage of seeing her with butt nuggets you know would harm her in the end(and usually do). But I cared and loved her enough that I wanted her to be happy even if not happy with me. When those toilet scum douse bags left her in a burning heap. I picked her up and told her THEY were the stupid ones for not seeing how great she was. You can be friends if YOU are mature enough to keep the green eyed monster in check. Other wise you will just become a liability she may not see worth having around anymore.

I understand what you are going through but you can't really do anything about it if she just wants to be friends. It's going to be really hard for you but I think the best thing to do is to try and forget about her. If it sounds impossible, at least give yourself a break and try looking for another girl. Don't think about this one too much because then you'll never be able to go on with your life.
On the other side of it, maybe she was just in a bad mood when she said she wants to be friends. Maybe she didn't really mean it. Who knows... Maybe she is even testing you to see if you really like her or not. But be careful because if it's not true, and you still try to prove to her how much you love her, the situation may just get worse. Sometimes it's like a game, but not always.

Never try to convince a woman to like
you. She either does, or doesn't because

How can she have a boyfriend and never talked to him, seems like she is putting you on for some reason. So no contact with the fellow, I would say don't leave the gate open too long and just make your move now. Perhaps she wants you to think she has someone so that you will be or stay interested in her.

Speaking of a break up with the love of my life but remaind friends and after all we both have been thru with other relationships eighteen years later we are together dating again if you really love some one be there always. I am going almost threw the same thing.
It is very hard to be friend with some one U LOVE.
Everyone is different I could not do it CZ it hurt me so much just thinking of seeing him with some one Else. Imogen if I saw him with her.

o man. i am going through the same thing now man. Its pretty much gotten to the point where im doing crazy stalker stuff and it is making me sick. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be friends with somone you still have feelings for. trust me man i am going through it right now!

basically she is using you as the fall back boyfriend. some girls tend to do this. if this current boyfriend doesn't work out then she wants someone to be there so she won't be alone....that is where you come in. my advice....cut slingload and let her go. make her decide...you or the other dude.
