I'm a teen who is redoing her room. What color should i paint? I have a sliding door closet that takes up one wall. how can I make it cuter in terms of the door? What kind of doors will work for it? I want to frame cute pictures, brand names, ect. on the wall. I want to do something with shoes, maybe display them all?

My daughter was allowed to pick out whatever colors she wanted...even though I was hesitant on a few of them, it always turned out better than I expected...

She once went with a dark royal blue with white trim and as she has gotten older she now has a torquoise to light blue with chocolate brown accents...really cute, pink and brown is also adorable but she is not into pink..

I offer some cute wall decor options on ebay and in my ebay store that require very little skill to install and add a personalized custom (handpainted look) The link is

Good luck and try to pick a color that shows your personality!

Choose colors that you like. Nothing too outrageous because you may have to repaint someday! The closet doors are a cinch... prime and paint them to blend into the wall color or paint the trim and make them stand out. Use chalkboard paint on part of them for a blackboard. Or a thin layer of corkboard for small messages and pictures. If the doors have inside frames you can cut them out put lattice in their place and have a unique look. Or staple in fabric and you can change it out when you get tired of it. You can also sew pockets on the fabric and display things from them.
Use shelves for your other items on the wall in the shape of boxes and group them together,[example different pairs of shoes and a matching purse in one box, and a scarf, gloves and fancy hat in another box], then group your photos together on another wall. You can also hang lattice on the wall and build shelves off of that for an interesting look for photos or whatever.
