After you shampoo, rinse really well. For me, the first thing I do when I get in the shower is shampoo and rinse. Then I put conditioner in all over (mostly at the tips if you have split ends), then leave it in and do what you do in the shower. As you're washing yourself, keep applying conditioner in small amounts (to keep it in your hair because as you shower it usually washes out). then rinse well and blow dry. (:
