How does ANYONE know they are right?

Who decides what is right anyway? Not everyone even believes science to be right.

Besides, just because people have faith something is right doesn't mean it is.

I "know" it as well as one can "know" anything at all. When you really stop and think about it, nothing is 100%. I mean, you "know" that you are human, right? But there's always that chance that you're really an alien, disguised as a human with super-advanced alien medical techniques, and raised as one. Unlikely? Yes. Incredibly unlikely? Yes. So unlikely that we may as well just call it impossible? In my opinion, yes. If I can't know that god doesn't exist, it's only because you can't ever really be 100% sure of anything at all. But that's only playing semantics.

Atheists live in a spiritual vacuum and have no other means of basing an opinion other that what they can perceive with the mind.

They are convinced by what they perceive with the five senses.

We are very sure. We do not 'know' for sure, but we have lots of evidence so we can be 99% sure. People who believe in god have NO evidence so therefore have absolutely no idea if they are right or not. They think so, but unlike aethiests, they have no evidence to show for their thoughts.

Nobody "knows" anything. It's all theory. Things that are considered "known" are that way because they come out the same every time. I "know" that if I throw a rock up into the air, it's going to come back down, because it always does that.

Apparently they have faith as well and believe they are right.

I would never say 100%. But no evidence at all makes the odds of there being one prohibitively low. It is the same way you know the Tooth Faerie isn't real.

I'm not 100% certain I'm right, but all the availible evidence points to there being no god, so I'm pretty sure - sure enough not to waste my time worshipping something that probably doesn't exist.

atheist "think" they know, they have told themselves over n over enough that they believe what they speak. You know the line.....tell a lie often enough and to enough people, and you will start to believe it yourself. Then look at psychology and realize that when they lash out, that is a classic case of not believing the words that come from their own mouths.

I should know, for I use to spew the same EXACT stuff for 30 yrs as an atheist. Only an insider will tell you the truth (whistle blower).
