no one Really told me. accept by the pray " the our father".
father implies a man, the head of the house, the center of the decedents. I am who am is really the title god gave to himself. it is a belief that if you know the real name of god, you will have him in a disadvantage. Christ when asked how do we pray, he replyed with the our father. to thank his father.
we as brothers in spirit with Christ are the sons of God. then we are the friends of christ not strangers, nor employed by him. and brought to us eternal life.

Jesus lives. He was not found by the Roman soldiers or Mother Mary when He rose. When I get to heaven I will let you know what God looks like, but I'm sure it won't be gender specific like your question/statement says.
Also, the Christian religion is not a continuity of the Torah as much as it is about the life of Jesus and the acts of Paul setting up the church (New Testament.) Christians do not sacrifice their first borns, according to the Torah :-(

I'm Jewish, and no, my grandparents did not tell me G-d looks like a man. We believe we don't know what G-d looks like. He must have an image of humanity, since we were created in His image, but G-d is both male and female and neither all at the same time. He lacks definition because He is in all things and all genders. You could call G-d a She and it would still be correct--we just use he because, well, you gotta call Him something.
Also, Chrstianity may have started out as a continuation of the Torah, but it is not that way today in any way shape or form. Chrstians no longer follow the Torah. They have a "new covenant."

GOD can do something-he's God, it became predicted that He could come to earth and He did--Isaiah 9:6 and Isaiah fifty two:13-fifty 3:12 that he could lay down his existence to make atonment for our sins. So God did come to earth as a guy Jesus-and in heaven that's unknown on the subject of the God head-basically that Jesus is on the suited suited hand of the daddy making intercession, and that as quickly as we see the Messiah Jeuss we can be like Him. the Bible

Christian and no one ever mentioned what God looked like.
I decided on my own that he is a man. And anyway the Christian Bible says he is.
Personally, I think he looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger, probably.

No, the bible tells me that God created man in his own image. That also doesn't tell me what God looks like because it could be the image that God wants man to look like. I really don't care what God looks like. All I care is that I serve him to the best of my ability and that he is pleased with me. Why bother caring what God looks like, all I can have now is what he feels like and I love feeling God when I am in his presence.

God is a man according to the Bible, but god does not exist so it does not matter.
