Spirituality is the next evolution of religion
A religious person may be fanatic, arrogant or ignorant, but a spiritual person sees all unverse as his own self
Religion is like a canal where water flows in fixed routes..predecided if it will reach our tap, or fields or lake
But spirituality is free flowing mountain river....finding its own ways....dancing and singing...rushing towards the Great Ocean

To me, spirituality is the conviction that my real self is not this physical body but the invisible soul which resides within. The death of this body does not mean the end of my existence. My body has a finite existence, my soul is eternal.
My soul, which is essentially divine, is just a tiny droplet of water, one amongst the billions of droplets which have emerged from the almighty ocean we call God; some of these droplets have assumed the form of ice, some have metamorphosed clouds, snow, crystals, hailstones, steam, water vapour or some other form.
Ultimately, all these diverse names and forms merge in the ocean once again; all sense of individuality are lost and one becomes an indivisible part of the mighty ocean once again; this is the ultimate destiny of the soul, of every soul without exception.
The epitome of spirituality is therefore, the individual soul, which is a miniature version of the supreme soul.

The epitome of spiritualism is, "to achieve complete control over power of our soul within and practically imply for the advantageous purpose of materialistic physical life" to bring up the global standard.
Thus spiritualism is a combination of every thing, a virtual path to the ultimate human destiny.

To me , the epitome of spiritualism is attempting to find goodness and true peace from within one's own self. Seeking to be "in tune with" nature, with one's inner self, and at one with the universe. That is what spiritualism begins with and gifts are supposed to follow as one achieves this one-ness with all things. Simplified, I am saying that all this comes from being "spirit minded" and "spirit directed". The real question is what spirit does one seek after? There are evil spirits and there are good spirits, and then there is the one and only Holy Spirit. No one is all good so if they are looking to achieve goodness, they will not and cannot. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Jesus which acts as a conscience within us after asking Jesus to come into our hearts. That is the way God shows Christians right from wrong. In short, spiritualism is a lie that takes away from the truth that in order to be "good" to begin with, we must first seek to know Jesus as our personal Savior. It is a tool of Satan to deceive others into thinking that inner peace can be found without the help of the Lord God Almighty. It cannot! It can however find the way to eternal damnation and separation from God. Don't let the wiles of this world fool you. Spiritualism is no different from cannibalism or beastiality when the attempt is made to achieve by one's deeds alone. The real Spirit comes from God. And salvation unto man comes through faith by believing and not of works alone. The new age is the epitome of spiritualism, all self-obsorbed and Godless.

Happy to lack religious belief and all the dogma that goes along with it.
Spiritualism means breaking free from the barriers and regulations of religion. Living as one through a higher power - a God that is all loving - a universal energy --lifeflow. Living by the Golden Rule and accepting life for what it is and working to make it better.

The epitome is neither the reward or the work. It is your connection with God.
