You have my condolences.

Mourning is a natural thing to do at this time -- he was your boyfriend and it is apparent that you love him. Eventually you will move on, but it will come in its own time.

About the necklace: I like the suggestion made that you wear it at the funeral. Keep it afterwards as a cherished memory, but don't let that chain become one that keeps you tied to him. Go on with your life and remember the good times you two have had.

Seeing that he loved you, I am quite sure that he would want no less than for you to be happy.

I think this is a matter that you should figure out by yourself. No one can tell you what to do with something your boyfriend gave to you on your deathbed. GO TO HIS FUNERAL!
