Nice question...

There's a lot of difference betwen truth and trust (faith).

The sun rose in the east today is the truth. The sun will rise in the east tomorrw is mere trust. Trust upon the cosmic activities taht are supposed to work on calculations. But who knows, what is in store within this time instant and all of a sudden an imbalance is created in the activities forcing the sun to rise in the west.

talking about our own faith and truth, our faiths are basically dependant. Dependant on the environment we are subjected to, our own attitude. A hot tempered guy believes anger is the best way to get things done his way, while a calm guy thinks patience is the best way to get things done his way. Dependant on the way we percieve things - whether we look at it with a materialsitc perspective, or with a social perspective, or with respect to some other person, or with respect to our own individuality, or with a perspective to seek union with the almighty.

It's not necassary that my faith can be the truth. But one's insight is the truth. Just trust this very insight, and you will never find moments of despair, sorrow, etc. in your life.

I hope I could put some light to your querry.

All the best...

:-)

The answer would greatly depend upon the interpretation of the meaning Truth. I believe, Truth is subjective based upon the knowledge a person is endowed with at the given time of evaluating truth. In other words, as a person grows in knowledge, their reality of truth changes accordingly. A person much have faith to go forward to obtain knowledge.

The result of your faith can be discovering the Truth, and faith can be true, but I'm not too sure about one's faith being the Truth itself.

I personally believe that all we have to have is FAITH---it's that simple! John 3:16 is what I have faith in and therefore, gives me a direct line of communication with the Father. He is true, perfect, pure, loving, merciful, graceful, etc... I believe that all these qualities are innate and that we have a conscience---but are given a choice to have freewill. The thought of the Father being too demanding is ludicrous. He only gave us 10 Commandments to follow and we all are incapable of doing that on a daily basis!
