Why does my sound stop?

Question

Every so often, my iTunes stop working and they dont even start playing (the thing stays a 0 secs)

From then on my comp wont play sounds, and it is pissing me off

Any suggestions on what to do / reasons for this?

song files on your computer could be missing! try redownload a song and play it!
