Existence without end.

Eternity implies the existence of something which has neither a beginning nor an end. Something which is not limited by the notions of space and time. Something which is always the same, never changing, everlasting.

There can be only one word for describing It.

That word is G O D.

I heard a concrete example once.
Imagine a great mountain. Imagine that every 100 years a seagull comes to sharpen its beak on the summit. Eternity would be when the mountain is ground down to nothing from the seagull. (Just a concrete way to think about it being a long time)

As never ending, forever if you're talking about eternity in general. If you're speaking of living an eternity (not correlated to religion) very sad since you get to see everybody die.

God bless
