if you wash your hair at least once a month, you are okay. you could trim the split ends, that tends to help growth sometimes. braiding it could help too.

All hair is good hair. Do not be deceived by this Barbie doll world. About your hair washing your hair is important. Some hair stylist can mess u up. Mayo condition is great.
Beauty supply look for shampoo with mositures might cost a little more but u are worth it. Get rid of dandruff by washing your hair it is good for your skin too. I am dark and lively too. You can wear a wig that will suit u and keep it braided and clean until it grows. Wear it natural and just twist it and be happy. Wash u hair girl! When you purchase MAYO (must) see if they have MAYO shampoo--get the same line of products for everything if possible. Uplifting shampoo and Leave-in-conditioner, Indian Hemp, Shea butter (use for twist it) will grow your hair. Myth about cutting split ends--your hair will still grow and if you must cut ends you can do it yourself. Watch out now.

Alot of people have "Terminal Lenghts" wich means that your hair won't grow past a certian lenght. This may be yours. The only way to heal splits is to cut them off so get them trimmed. Just oil the ends of your hair with an oil like jojoba and use very very good conditioners. Alot of people have good sucess with Conditioner only washing method or even water only. These sound odd but def. check them out.

You really do need to wash the hair regularly and get a trim for healthy growth... it doesn't promote growth, but healthier hair... It sounds like you also need to take some good vitamins and minerals...prenatals are good, but consult with a dr. first ok! For herbs and good food products to help your body and hair, you need to have a balanced diet and exercise routine.. your hair is an extension of your body and has to be fed for it's health too! It needs protein and there are many good ways to get that! One way that I know helps is to eat more things with gelatin! Also foods high in protein and other vitamins / minerals helps! Take some of the fish oil supplements too... as I said, there are many ways to get the things your body/ hair needs! These things will also help your dryness and dandruff condition... Good luck !

You should wash you hair as massaging your scalp do help in the growth.
I've also heard that to increase the rate of hair growth, you should go for a trim every 3 months.
To prevent split ends, trying using more conditioner, DIY treatments and also leave-on moisturisters..

Gd Luckz!

I read in an article that hair stops growing for eight years at one point in someone's life. I forgot why. But I would encourage you to moisturize your hair.Use high moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Always use hair lotion. I would say olive oil and castor oil lotions, those are great. Oh, and cut those split ends; if I'm correct, I think that those have a lot to do with stunting hair growth.

The first thing you need to do is clip those ends thats the only way for it to grow then after that make sure your hair is greased and wash it every 2 weeks .

Maybe You should clip your ends, you may have dead ends and when you wash your hair use dandruff shampoos that will get rid of your bad dandruff and will add essential vitamins and body to your hair. When you clip your hair its probably best to get it in layers or get all your hair clipped the same length (preferbly by me, get layers).

You might try prenatal vitamins. They will help your nails and hair grow.
