yes i agree. also, without the devil there would be no-one for religious people to blame for all the bad things that happen.
personally i reckon that satan gets a pretty bad rap from the majority of christians. you can't have good without bad, or dark without light. he is a necessary evil.
satan represents free will and independence and doing what you want. and guess what? some people like those things.
i'd rather go to hell than heaven because i think god must be a pretty stupid and boring person. sometimes it can be fun to be wicked..

no compadre.
I don't believe in purguatory.
sinners CAN'T get to Heaven. God and sin don't belong together, nor can.
the devil didn't create Hell, nor anything else. he didn't even create sin! Satan doesn't have that ability. the devil only twists, manipulates, and destroys. he isn't the one bringing you to Hell, you just end up there cause that's where the road takes you.
why would I want to speak to him, let alone thank him?

The devil does not make people do evil things. People have free will. I think that the devil is really a nice guy cause he (or she! or whatever the devil is) helps out god by taking in the rejects and punishes them. If he really appreciated people doing bad things on Earth, he will not punish and torture them when they go to hell.

Pends on just what you believe doesn't it. I have nothing to thank the devil for, or satan and I do not believe all awful sinners end up in hell. I do believe ALL OF US ARE SINNERS. CCCookee

If Christians want to believe in an all-good God there has to be an all-evil God too. They go together, and should be worshipped equally, because they need each other.
