I am in a relationship with this guy. We have been dating since November 24th, 2007. He is finishing high school and working part time and I finished high school early and now working full time We both care and love each other. When we first started dating, everything was fine and our communication was great. But now we really don't talk anymore. I am open with him, I express myself all the time to him if its what I am feeling or thinking or how my day was, its just he doesnt talk back anymore. I dont want to lose this relationship. But mentally I feel like its really nothing. We are not breaking up, we are still together. I really care about him. What can I do to open up our communication again.

TO Be honest I am in that relationship now. I have been this way with my partner for over a year. It started the same way now I feel like I am talking to a brick wall who does not hear me. I have tried every thing from cry beg plead scream fight argue nothing has worked yet. though he is a great guy we don't communicate at all.
After this began we lost all intimacy on every level. No affection no attention no nothing. Now we are live in roommate with nothing between us all I can say is get out while the getting is good. This will inevitable brake you down in side when you lose every tying tangible you have in your life.
I know from first hand you will not walk away with out a fight you will stay in the relationship as long as you can hoping for change. you will not take my advice no more then you will take any one's
you will hold on out of hope and love till you cant take any more and even then you will have to soul search before you walk away.
best I can tell you is no one can tell you want to do you have to find it in your self to do what is right for. You cab=n not worry about what you can not control focus on your schooling and job build your self Eastern and you will have all your answers on your own
