90% of allergies are food related, but it's not really the food, but the ingredients. Most food are very refined foods, even an apple is now laced with all kind of poisons that are used to kill parasites and aid growing.
The best way to get rid of allergies is to do a full body cleanse, starting with a colon and Candida cleanse and Please eat Organic food! those are not allowed to be treated with poisons and growth hormones and similar.
Also make sure you don't drink tap water unless it's filtered, and the same counts for your shower. There is shower filters available everywhere....
just think about it, why do they put chlorine into the water? Because it KILLS. Everybody knows you can die of chlorine, so how is it OK to expose yourself to it all the time...???
One Cigarette doesn't kill you,,... but a lot might cause Cancer...
I know i gave way more info than you requested, this is like my personal battle field i guess....
i hope i helped.

not much can be done, except to flush her system out well with quality water (not tap) She needs to avoid seafood at all costs in the future-as the next reaction could be more severe. She should book an appointment with an allergist to determine any other allergies. There is a possibility that she reacted to another ingredient, and not the actual seafood. Testing will help determine what it is

Are the symptoms from the seafood or the medicine? It sounds like the doctor treated the seafood allergy presuming that's why she went to the doctor. So, what's the question?

I had a fifth grade teacher who was allergic to fennel and had the same symptoms. It sounds like she broke out in hives, red bumps that are itchy and may cause swelling. She needs to go to the emergency room or the doctor. Also, tell her to avoid the seafod.
