emo kids? im not rly emo its actually more of my style, but i think emo kids are normal, but lots of ppl diss them, wut do u think?

They remind me of the punkers when I was younger - they dress similar, except the boys wear their pants so tight I don't know how they can bend over without a big rriippp! They are just kids trying to figure out their own identity - I just hope this doesn't lend to the gay thing at all...'emo' meaning emotional and all...my daughter seems to kind of like a few emo guys, but she's young, so it doesn't concern me, too much..we're all so different that I guess we have to figure it out somehow. :)

I had a friend who was emo...a cutting, self-pity filled, "I want to die" person. Emo people want attention, they want people to feel sorry for them, and it gets really annoying. They think the whole world is out to get them, which makes them feel miserable, and then they think cutting themselves is a good thing because somehow it makes them feel better. They listen to music about spilling blood, and souls being destroyed, and committing suicide, and they think it's just amazing. I don't think emo kids are normal, and I know that they could stop being emo, they just don't realize there are thousands of other people that go through the same crap everyday and deal with it in a healthy, not cutting or suicidal thoughts way.

What the hell is an emo kid? Kids are kids, some are annoying, some are ok, some show great potential to grow into adults who will actually drive the speed limit when they get in front of me on the highway...What makes your little group so special?

emo kids get on my nerves because they say that they wanna dress different yet they dress just like all the other emo kids, yet they wanna make fun of preps just for dressing like the other preps. basically i think "emo kids" are just posers in every aspect: clothes, music, and attitude... please tell me why almost all of them wanna have bad attitudes like God gave them the worst life ever?!
