It's actually part of Ireland, Britain just rule it. (Or try to). If I was asking a question about Belfast I'd post it in Ireland - cos that's where it is.

It's part of the UK, and it's listed as a separate category there. By Ireland, they refer to the Republic of Ireland.

It is a British Country. By Ireland they mean the Republic of Ireland.
