I attempted a tax return last year, however my father listed me as a dependent student and I listed myself as independent so it did not go through. Now I am having an agency assist me to obtain that return and they have requested my last year's return. Where can I print this info?

If it was rejected there won't be a return to get a copy of

If you mailed the return in the only way to get a copy of transcript of the return or your W2 information is to contact the IRS @ 1-800-829-1040 They can provide a transcript to you in 7 to 10 days or by fax if you have access to a fax machine

After it was rejected, did you refile it correctly last year? If so, then you can request a free transcript from the IRS. If you never filed a return last year and had it accepted, then about all you can do is reprint it from your software, or if you had a paid preparer do it, ask them for a copy.

If you have a copy of the one that was rejected, take that in - they might be able to work with that.

If your return for last year was rejected, it will not be available because you didn't actually get it filed. You will probably need to start from scratch for both years. If you file a return for yourself, your father can not list you as a dependent or it is fraud! You two work that out, but know that if you want to file a return, you can, he can't tell you not too, as he does not have that power.
