I am a Bahai.
I believe that the prophet expected by all religions of the past came to Persia in 1844. He proclaimed already at that time the equality of men and women, the compatiblity of science and religion and stressed the importance of independant investigation of the truth. He provides a vision of world peace and a solution to the problems faced nowadays by humankind.

I not religious. The spirit of religion is not good. Religion is just a bunch of rules that you have to follow to try to make into heaven.
My belief is pentecostal. I believe in Jesus was born of a virgin, died on a cross for the remisson of our sins, arose again on the third day and is alive now sitting on the right hand side of God.
I believe in the works of the Holy Ghost.

whats your religion? How about religious belief system, will that work?
I believe father created souls in his image (not humans) some souls could not bear to leave fathers side for the loss of love, some souls ventured out on adventurers and came back and shared with father. some souls were rebellious and acted as though they did not want to share love/joy/fellowship/bliss with father. They acted like they wanted to do it on their own, be their own little god in their own little world. And for these lovely souls earth was created as a test, Do you really want to become a little god controling others being "I"m better than they are". if you do then you need not do anything you are on the right path.
However if you dearly miss father and his creation choose love/fellowship/sharing in all your actions and let your desire to leave this place be known.
I believe it because after many years of study the only thing that holds up is choosing love will get you a better chance in the hereafter no matter what the hereafter is.
What if heaven and hell are exactly the same except for one difference? What ever you picture in your head heaven to be, imagine hell to be the same except for one difference. Everything you can do in heaven you can do in hell except for one difference. The difference is love or dominion. If you choose love you are in heaven, you are sharing love/joy/fellowship, absolute bliss in all you do.
If you choose dominion you are in hell, everyone will be dominion bent, acting without regard to anything but personal pleasure, personal gain, exercising power over others. Everyman for himself in all that is done. Everything else is the same.
Now which path do/will you choose? LOVE or DOMINION

P.S. Doesn't hell feel a lot like earth?
P.S. S. If you choose dominion click on exit, there is nothing here for you.

Why do you not give yours first?
I am of The True Christian Faith.... I came to God at age 53... It occured just between God and me... no man, priest, or pastor, no doctrin, dogma or Book involved... I know with absolute certainty that God is real and I know what he has promised me will be... and I know what He has done for me... After I came to God and received His free gift of Salvation I became part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those of The Church are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven.
After my Salvation, God led me to a small concervative Baptist congrigation and I was voted as a member a year latter. But God is not concerned with man's "denominations"... the denomination one belongs to will not get any one into Heaven... ONLY those of The Church will enter Heaven.

My religion is Nihilism, or more like a branch of it. I believe that everything is pointless and there is no reason to live. I believe it because the universe is evidently a horrible place. It is a giant killing machine. It builds stuff up just to tear it all down. I wish I was never born. Curses...

Hinduism. I believe in it because I have studied several of the world's religions and found it to be the religion that feels most natural to my soul. I think it is true, based on the reading of the Hindu Scriptures.

"What's your religion"
I became one of those born-again Jesus Freaks of the 1970s. This was the Calvary Chapel movement that started in Costa Mesa, California USA. I was by myself when I asked Christ into my heart, because I figured if He IS God, He can meet me where I am at and not at a church. And He did, in a BIG way. Been walkin' and talkin' to Him for--oy, 34 years now.
"Why do you believe in it?"
I have always wanted a personal relationship with my Creator, but never knew how to gain it. Christianity showed me how and proved it beyond what I could imagine. The Bible showed me that this salvation was free, with no requirments other than to believe and trust in the Savior.
Christianity is founded on freedom. Freedom to recieve, freedom to reject, freedom to opt-out, freedom to change your mind and opt-in. Free will is everything to God. He will never force anything upon you without your will to do so.

My philosophy is Buddhism and I believe in it because it is logical, coherent and without any theology or deities. It is focused solely on adhering to a set of moral precepts rather than a set of doctrines and beliefs.
