learn how to adjust the BASS and trebel for music systems to get best output?

I got new Car n a new MUsic system but i m not able to adjust the BASS and TREBEL of the system to get the best output can ne1 tell me how can i make it a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

their are a lot of factors like type of car,type of speakers, type of amp and so on but if you turn the volume to where you listen to it the most and on the type of music you listen to the most set the treble to as high as you can that it doesnt sound distorted and then set the bass to the highest level that it isnt distorted and if your running an amp never turn the gain all the way up 3/4 of the way at most
