Have you ever taken demorol & how does it make you feel? like, I dont know if it's workin or not?=))

I had a c-section and they gave me demorol. wowwwwww~~ ``this is how Ifelt. My bf came in to see me and they had just given me a shot. I saw my bfs lips moving but I did not understand one thing that was coming out of them.It felt like I was floating on a cloud.They gave that to me for about a day and a half. I remember I called the nurse in to give me another shot. I really wasnt in a whole lot of pain but I wanted to feel that feeling again. Well, here she came with some stupid darvocet.It sure wasnt like the demerol. THose drs. make sure you dont get hooked in there.

I was hospitalized years back for a bad accident. They gave me demoral for pain. I felt no pain while on it, and like all was right with the world. Wouldn't say it was euphoric, but it was a high of sorts, and I did look forward to my next dose--about every 12 hours over 2 or 3 days in the hospital. However, I had terrible withdrawal symptoms after two days of them injecting me with it in the hospital. I paid the price for about 2 months. I was so screwed up. Was depressed, lost my appetite, lost weight, couldn't sleep and had terrible night sweats. I was a total wreck, and almost lost my job and marriage over it. I wish I never took it. Looking back, I should have lived with the pain and requested Tylenol. Just not worth it! I agree. If your are taking it to get high. Don't. That would be more than stupid. Exercise, learn a musical instrument, laugh, or do other things for a healthy, natural high.

Are you talking about Demerol, the pain reliever? If you are in enough pain to have Demerol prescribed for you, then you will KNOW whether it's working or not.
If you just happened to "acquire" some and are trying them out - DON'T.

Demerol? You'll know if it's "working" if your pain goes away.
If you are taking it ILLEGALLY just to get high......get off of it. Only LOSERS get high.
