How to fix Shockwave Flash Player, ActiveX and Javascript in Internet Explorer

1. Download and install the Java Console http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

2. Then install Flash Player and Shockwave Player

3. Then check ActiveX add ons are not disabled - Go to tools, manage add ons, enable or disable add ons, then drop the box down to “Downloaded ActiveX Controls” and make sure they are all enabled.

4. Enable ActiveX Javascript Controls - If you're using Windows XP with service pack 2, enable ActiveX controls by following these instructions: Click the Start menu, then Control Panel. Double-click Internet Options. Click the Security tab. Click the Internet icon then click the Custom Level button. Make sure that ActiveX controls and plug-in settings are all set to "Enable". If enable produces a warning colour then use the prompt icon option instead.
5. If you are still having problems then follow OPTION 1 first if this doesnt work try OPTION 2 the OPTION 3 (remember that you need to restart you browser before changes will take affect)

OPTION 1

Run the flash player patch

OPTION 2

Download and run the "uninstall" for Shockwave Flash Player. Then start from step 1. above.

OPTION 3

Uninstall all version of flash players in add/remove programs in your control panel and download and install CCleaner then click the "Run Cleaner" button to delete any left over files from previous versions of Flash Player. Then go back to step 1. at the top of the page.

Does the error say You cannot have Shockwave ?
The more details you give easier for people to answer.
1. What you are trying to do ?
2. Problem downloading a specific program ?
3. Download program ShockWave from Macromedia ?
We are all in a state of shock !
