Do you not realize that if you are not slain gloriously in battle you will not be welcomed to feast with the gods in Valhalla?

If you are right and there is no god, then you lose nothing.

But if you are wrong, then after your death you will be sent below Yggdrasil's roots to Hel's Realm, where you shall stand in a chamber woven of serpent spines that will drip poison onto you as you wade in the rivers of blood. Plus, you'll only have goat's urine to drink! For all eternity!

What do you possibly have to lose? I suggest you offer sacrifices of repentance to our glorious Lord Odin and ask for his forgiveness. Afterall, he gave his Left Eye to drink from the Well of Wisdom for you.

I'm sorry, birdsflies, but the One True Religion was created long before your False Christianity, which was created by Loki, the Contriver of All Fraud, to decieve the weak. Do you not realize he wants to take power away from his blood brother Odin?
I suggest you take up the sword and fight for the Gods. Again, it is the only path to Valhalla.

*laughs* I'm already dedicated the Norse Gods so I am Asgard-bound.

I see what you are trying to do (and I find it humorous) but maybe you should have used a different pantheon (such as the Aztecs or Egyptians) because the Norse Gods do not punish people for not believing in the and Hel isn't such a bad place for those who live a good life. And the Norse Gods do not need sacrifices for the sake of repentance, for there is no concept of sin/salvation. Also no afterlife destination in Norse Mythology is eternal, not even Odin's chosen live forever, most die during Ragnarök.

P.S. I like the part about Loki having created Christianity, nice touch. lol

i don't think of converts could lose their non-Christian friends. This only occurs, because superficial friendships lose their bond. genuine friendships proceed to be, and are frequently the reason for the non-Christian friends to transform on their turn, even as the time comes. yet human beings dropping all their friends? i visit in reality imagine of two issues, or maybe 3: a million) That those friendships were very superficial first of all. 2) That converts are actively inspired to despise their friends (in spite of undesirable impression alongside with drunken activities or regardless of the truth that). 3) That this "minister" belongs to a cult (something more suitable or a lot less like scientology etc) that tries to dominate the existence of the trustworthy a lot, that they get severed from their frequent existence and develop into cult zombies. (that is truly linked without. 2.) i imagine Christians could save each and each of the friends they love, and in reality stay away from those who can get them into difficulty. and bigger positive stated, stay away from no longer the persons, besides the undeniable fact that the circumstances that could be spiritually risky. If those human beings are genuine friends, they could settle for to fulfill with the weak converts in good circumstances, a minimum of each so often, for the sake of preserving in contact.

Um, because one it wouldn't be a true conversion.

Two - I have my own faith. One I wouldn't want to give up.

Three - atheists would have to admit that there was a God or at least some sort of Divine power in order to convert. Then they would no longer be atheists. They can't be right about there not being a God, and yet still follow your religion. You're asking them to compromise their beliefs for some hope of an after life better then here.

It's a shame so many people missed the irony...

Kudos on framing the best question to expose the silliness of Pascal's Wager without being pedantic.

Nice one!

It sounds like the only thing your god drunk from was the pits of hell. It will also look stupid to have a god that is not perfect & walking around with an eye missing, Only Satan & demons can come up with this religion of yours.------------------dmlk2, Sorry to tell you. my God created all things, There is only one True God, & In the Beginning God is the one that created, As far as Christiananity is concerning, It happened 2000 yrs ago, But In the Beginning God saw there will be a time to send a messiah, So My faith actually goes back to before the foundation of the world. Because I was a thought in God's mind. Therefore your God is a false God. & in Zephaniah Chapter 2 God said at the endtime he will FAMISH all the gods of the earth, let's see whose god will be standing when that happens
