Well, you have a couple ways--you could cold-turkey them. It's pretty rough for the 1st day or so, but then they're out of your system in 72 hours--and the agony of quitting like that will remind you not to get hooked again.
Or you could ease off of them, reducing your intake a little at a time. this is less traumatic, and more difficult as the desire to use at your usual amount (or more) will be with you until your completely clean.
and speaking of clean--remember in any case, to drink lots of water & JUICES--it's the sugar content & and try to eat--between the puking, so go stock up on soups & anything else you like to eat when your sick--before you start your detox!
Also, get epson salts to put in hot baths for long soaks--it draws out toxins & helps take the edge off, as do herbal teas.
Good Luck.--
Of course, the best way to go would be in-facility detox, but then you didn't ask about that.

There isn't. You would be so sick you probably won't make it. You'll go in search of the drugs to make the sickness and pain stop. You really need to be medically detoxed. As an inpatient. They can give you medications to make the withdrawal better so you won't have diarrhea, vomiting, aches and pains (like the worst flu you can imagine) and worst of all.....your arms and legs will NOT stay still. You'll be constantly moving, jerking around. I've been with 2 people who have detoxed at home and it was horrible for both of them. They didn't make it more than 3 days before they were right back on the drugs. Please go into detox.

I take morphine for pain and my DR. told me when I get ready to stop taking it he will slowly reduce the Mg until I'm weaned off of the morphine. If you are taking morphine as a recreation drug then you should check yourself in a rehab center.
Good luck

Depending on your health and medical conditions I would consult a medical professional and detox at a facility. Detox can kill if not properly managed.

You shouldn't be doing something like this alone. Maybe you should talk with some professionals, like your physician. You don't want to get seriously ill or worse, die. :(
