Losing size isn't as easy as just changing eating habbits. Every section in your body has different variables controlling size, weight ad shape. To properly size up your wrist and ankles you must do some exercising, sure eating right and losing wieght helps but thats more for your stomach. Even though you lose weight you will still need to tighten up you muscles because there is unhealthy loss of weight were you are down to the size you like but your skin is all lose and you still look a little plump. Well tone it all up for better shape and for the look guys will notice and that will bring you confidence. Try crunches and pushups every day, as for your ankles try ankle lifts. This is where you will stand with your feet together then lift up onto your toes and hold that position for 5 seconds, then go back down and repeat. Do this for about 5 minutes. Then for you wrists, get some 5 pound weights and hold them in your hand. Put your arms stright out infront of you with your palms up. The curl your wrists inwards with the weights in your hands. Do this for 5 minutes with short brakes here and there. Do this every day an after about 2 weeks you should see drastic changes and you will also have stronger wrists and ankles. Remeber all health books say the same thing, balanced diet and regular exercise are key to being fit and losing weight. You need both so get at it! Goodluck!

go buy some waterloss retention pills, you can get them at walmart and they are cheap. You are retaining water. You could also cut back on salty foods like chips, pop, some condensed soup are high in sodium, canned veggies, canned raviolis, french fries (fast food), and stop sprinkling salt on your food. When you go shopping, flip the box/can over to the nutrition chart and read the sodium level you will be suprised at what foods contain salt that you didnt think did and how much they actually contain.

TELL you what happened to me. SALT holds water. I took salt out of my diet 4 a week and lost 10 pounds and my ankles + wrist went down. THE swelling stopped.NOW i use very little salt.

Sounds like swelling due to poor circulation. Try exercising to increase circulation. Or go to a Massage Therapist and have the swelling reduction technique done. One session with a good MT and you'll know if it's fat or swelling.

You're retaining water. This can be indicative of health problems, so it's something you really should have a doctor take a peek at.
