I am concerned why you would want to know about suicide chat rooms or suicide.com. Is this for you or are you worrying about a friend of yours. I am just concerned because I have Bipolar Disorder and I want you to know that if it is you that is depressed and feel like giving up by suicide, it really isn't the answer. Things will get better. You just have to take one day at a time. If you have been feeling depressed and hopeless for a while and you feel stuck and that things will never get any better, which is how I have felt so many times before, I suggest looking into talking to someone you are close to or looking into getting a therapist to help you sort out your feelings. Also group therapy is helpful so that you can see that you aren't alone with your feelings. If you are unsure how to find a therapist I would talk to your medical doctor who could give you referals to some. Believe me, a therapist can be very helpful and supportive. Also, I don't know if you are on medication for depression, but many times people with depression, Bipolar Disorder or other Mental Illnesses are on medication to help with the symptoms of depression. If you aren't on medication, this could be another reason why you are feeling so bad. Psychiatrist usually prescribe medication for depression. But please, above all, if you are really feeling like hurting yourself in anyway, do not wait and try to talk to someone on a suicide chat. You need to get help right away at an emergency room. You may need to be hospitalized for a little time to get stabilized on medication. Trust me, I've been there and I care. Please, take care of yourself and get yourself the help because you are valuable and your life is to precious to do something as drastic as this. If you would like to email me to talk to me, i am here. My email is: kmeade01@yahoo.com

You seem to know the contacts, but DON'T GO THERE. Go to your GP instead.
