I have to do a project for my Spanish class about Felix Trinidad. Just a two minute presentation about his life and why he's famous in spanish. The only problem is I can't find anything about his childhood, just info on his career. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very greatful. Thank you.

Félix 'Tito' Trinidad, Jr. (born January 10, 1973) is an overated boxer from Cupey Alto, Puerto Rico and a former multi-division champion of the International Boxing Federation and the World Boxing Council. Trinidad has an impressive record of 42 wins and 2 losses, with 35 wins by knockout, and is considered one of the best Puerto Rican boxers in history, along the likes of Wilfred Benitez, Wilfredo Gómez, and Hector Camacho.
When Trinidad Sr. announced his decision to turn his son into a professional boxer rather than wait for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, he was met with skepticism and criticism from Puerto Rico's top boxing experts.



Trinidad's father, Felix Trinidad Sr. is a former Puerto Rico Featherweight champion who once fought the legendary Salvador Sanchez, lasting 5 rounds in San Antonio, Texas.

He was raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and began boxing at age 12. His father and manager Felix Trinidad Sr. was the Puerto Rican featherwweight champ in the mid 70-s.
