I'd appreciate any ideas for a family holiday - we are mid 30's and our children will be 4 (nearly 5), 3yrs and 3 months at the time. It will be last 2 weeks of August and the budget is £2k tops, preferably including food etc. Creche or nursery would be a bonus!

Thank you.

You could try center parcs. They are lovely breaks, you can do midweek, weekend or a whole week. The prices vay depending on what type of accommodation you are after and they have a fabulous creche and spa. You will need to budget for all of these as extras, but you will be able to manage one week with extras in your budget.

The other recomendation is the Bedruthan Steps hotel, or the Watergate Bay Hotel close to Newquay, Cornwall.

I have stayed at the Watergate Bay hotel and it is lovely, and great for children. I haven't stayed at the Bedruthan, but I know people that go there year after year

Thats quite a lot... could go abroad...

but... um check out Croyde in Devon.

I think there is some sort of caravan park with pool and maybe a creche - i dunno..

Amazing beaches! and countryside as well..

If you don't want to go for the whole caravan park thing...

You could easily rent out a house or something.. i'd still reccommed the Devon or Cornwall coast....

ya you should stay at Brighton its by the sea it has a fair on the peir also has loads of places to see and lots of places to eat at, it may be a bit crowded tho. You could also stay at london but its not really for young children but there are some good things there for kids, any places really that are close to the beach really, there are always good things to do, Bormouth, cornwall, Brighton and weymouth all good places and also Blackpool is a very good place to visit, you should check out the websits for it.
hope you have a good hoilday
