u don't need money alone to be happy - u can be happy by appreciating the finer things in life - i'm sure at 13, you have hobbies - do a hobby that makes you happy. Make new friends etc.
If you feel depressed think about all those unfortunate people who don't even get a decent meal a day or have no home or are handicapped in some way. Most of these people aren't rich either and don't have many things that you do, but learn to find happiness in what they have.
Be grateful for what you have, appreciate others, make peace with whoever you fight with, bury grudges and do something fun once in a while and you'll be happy.

Money doesn't make you happy. You have to be happy by yourself. No person or "thing" will ever do it.
You're 13. You are a normal teen. We all went through teen depression and you will get over it. Just relax and be a teen. I think you are WAY too young to be taking mock SATs. You are going to change so much in the next few years that it won't tell you anything about your intellect. You aren't going to know hardly any of the answers--you haven't learned them yet. And when you get your score--and it will be low-you are going to be even more depressed. You aren't going to take the real one for another 4-5 years. That's a lot of learning you still have to do.

Have fun. Don't be afraid to laugh. Anyone who says something's too stupid to be funny doesn't know the joy of laughter.
Pick up a hobby or join a club at school. Having a purpose, especially one that helps others, will make you very content.
Call a friend just to talk.
Read a good book.
Dance like no one's watching. It sounds like something you'd do when you're happy but it will make you happy too.
Money doesn't make happiness. People do.
"Always laugh as much as possible and cry a little less. Conceive the inconceivable and dare to tell life, 'Yes!'"

Happy has nothing to do with silver spoons, some of the happiest people are poor as dirt. You have to focus on things that make you happy and not dwell on things you have no control over. You may not have a silver spoon, but you have things others don't, you should learn to appreciate them.

You don't need money to be happy, but i know it's easier said than done. Hang out with friends, laugh, spend a night watching favorite old movies. Have a photo shoot with you friends. Try to be as carefree as possible. Turn on music in your room and dance. Live every day to the fullest and never look back. You never know how many tomorrows you will have, so don't spend your days worrying about things like money or what will happen next. Smile.

You don't have to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth to be happy. Life is what you make it. You can't expect happiness to just be handed to you. You've got to make it. Too many people have the attitude that whoever dies with the most toys wins. That ain't the way it is. Things can't make you happy, people make you happy.....the relationships you have with your loved ones is what counts. How you treat those around you counts.
Money can't buy happiness.......Anna Nichole and Brittney Spears could attest to that.

What does one thing have to do with the other. I think happness is derived from doing things that make the world and ourselves a better place. Volunteer. Take up a hobby. Help someone do something they are having a hard time doing themselves. Giving of yourself is such a rewarding thing. And that makes you want to do other things to improve yourself and that is what makes you happy.
Balance is another thing that brings about happiness. Everything in moderation and keeping all facets of your life balanced, i.e., religious, family, friends, career, finances, health, etc.

I am sorry to hear about your woes,,, and I can tell you right now that existence is measured by suffering. So, you have a lot of life left to worry about being happy. Right now you should worry about being a child and leave the worries about happiness for the years when it will really matter.
