i have to run in the 800m varsity girls race and i'm not sure what to eat for breakfast...what to eat??

Anything that normally agrees with your stomach.
It also depends on how long you have between when you are eating and when you are running.

I would go with juice, bananas and toast with honey
If you have a long wait before your race, you might want to eat something more like pancakes. Sick with the carbs.

Some runners like to eat Lifesavers near to race time to give them a small burst of sugar.

Have a light breakfast. A banana would be good. Don't drink milk! Milk curdles the stomache and you might throw up during your run. :P Drink plenty of water so you don't cramp up. Granola bars are good too. Just don't over do it, no matter how hungry you may be, or you will probably regret it. Tell us how your track meet went!

If the meet is in the morning I don't eat anything, I rather eat after a race than before.

1 serve of carbs rolled oat or cream rice with banana
and eggs for some protien
just make sure the meal is light
