If he is your bestfriend and his girlfriend knows you are and she doesn't have a problem with him going then no it wouldn't be wrong at all....
Good luck!

Check with the girlfriend first. If she says no don't get upset. You guys could go seperate and meet up at the dance. However, I think that it is ok to go to a dance as friends, as long as both of you know that nothing is going to happen. Give it a shot. Good Luck and most importantly have fun.

it would not be good..however, you must ask the girlfriend in front of your friend first or he should tell her he is going with you in front of you..then watch and listen very carefully and do not get intimate or kiss..if the "vibes" feel wrong do not go with him,but hang out with him at the dance..at leave seperately and do not meet him anywhere afterward...all will be fine if you are "just and only friends" good luck

If it's just friends i really don't see the big deal. I would probably say something to the gf so she doesn't feel threatened :-)

As long as the girlfriend was ok with it, I don't think it would be a big deal.
