I'm not asking how to brush your teeth, but the terms dentists use in regards to the different methods used in the brushing of teeth. If a website could be provided that would be great, I wasn't able to really find anything.

The modified bass is the current accepted technique for brushing one's teeth. Other previous methods were: Bass, Fones, Modified Stillman, and others. Here is a website: http://www.drbunn.com/brushing.htm

The colgate toothpaste people have a web site showing you the proper way to brush. Small circular motion. You have to brush 2 minutes total, 1 min on the top 1 min on the bottom teeth. That is the only real proper way to brush.

I brush in four quadrants starting in the lower left and ending in the upper right while making sure I get both sides of the teeth.

up and down for two minuits. Get all the teethand its a good idea to get the plaque mouthwash to show you where the plaque is.
