I'd go with the advice from the Golf Professional ( Can't figure out what her name is). As to stance. Feet square to the line you want to hit the ball on. feet shoulders width apart.. Along with a hundred other swing thoughts I could add.......you'll be hitting them like Tiger in no time Lol
Grip it and Rip it lol

The two previous answers are correct. It also depends on the type of shot you want to hit (high or low). For a beginner, play the irons in the middle of the stance, the fairways woods slightly toward the target foot (left foot for righthanded golfer), and for a driver (teed up), off the inside heel of the target foot.

depends on what club you are using and what type of lie and grass you are hitting out of. for a driver off of the tee i usually position the ball on the inside of my left foot (right handed) for fairway irons i position the ball slightly more to the middle of my stance. this allows me to follow through and make proper ball contact. when hitting out of the sand the ball position is more forward (even with left foot) since contact is made farther behind the ball to lift it out of the sand.

Great answers. Just remember this if you want the shot to be higher move the ball forward if lower move it back. Most of your woods are typically played more forward and the ball position progresses farther back as you get to the shorter clubs.
